When I got Teo, my first bearded dragon, in February 2001 I had no experience of lizards (or other reptiles). Of course I had read a lot about beardies but you can't learn everything from reading. If you search the web for information about bearded dragons - be critical. Just because the page looks nice etc doesn't necessarily mean that the person that wrote the stuff knows a lot about beardies. Read as much as you can find, ask questions and use your own common sense.
I also want to point out that I'm not an expert - I can be wrong, at my site I am just telling you about my own experiences and what I have read and learnt about bearded dragons.
I am Swedish so please excuse my sometimes bad grammar and spelling..! But at least I am trying the best I can..! ;-)
